Call for help with the NLIS database, to get your transfers done, run reports before you load the truck or work through LPA and NVD waybills.
You can set up an appointment for a Teams in-home computer help session to learn how to do it on your own computer at the same time.
Voicemail will be emailed to the helpdesk operators so please leave a message if the line is busy.
For help with:
- Accessing the NLIS database
- Transferring stock in or out
- Catching up on past consignments
- Scanner device app / NLIS Buddy for transfers
- Database error / warning messages
- Correcting uploads
- Managing tags from dead stock
- Recording / replacing lost or damaged tags
- Generating reports for your PIC
- PIC reconciliations
- MyMLA; LPA accreditation;
- NVD waybills; eNVDs
Sending cattle off PIC:
Sort it out before the truck turns up
- Check your brand / PIC is registered
- Check LPA accreditation is current
- All cattle have an NLIS device
- Check all cattle are registered to your PIC on NLIS database
- Have your NVD waybill almost complete
Any stock bought from a saleyard or clearing sale will be transferred to your PIC for you but NOT if you purchase through Auctions Plus / other online auction platforms. YOU must sort it.
Bringing cattle onto PIC:
What do I need to update the NLIS database?
- The NVD waybill they arrived with
- A scanner to read the NLIS devices
- An NLIS database account OR call the helpdesk
Seasonal Tips:
To meet your LPA accreditation rules and make an audit smoother, don’t forget to record the BATCH number, WHP / ESI, dose and date of treatment of any products you use on pasture or stock.
LPA record keeping templates make it easy.
Cattle heading to a show need to be transferred to / from OR sighted at the showground and have a waybill.
What will happen to yours? Who is doing it?
Run the report to check that the cows have actually come home!
